Clean up, removing plastics

There has been an unfriendly garbage environment around AL- Mahdi Islamic center especially in the back yard.

There were wild raspberry bushes, weeds, mixed construction materials used, plastic bottles, papers, cardboard boxes, tree trunks and also a hedge cut up there, wiring, bits off glass and pieces of rotten metal and a lot more things  in a non-flat ground.

We planned an activity for our volunteers to clean it up and separated the recycling materials such as plastics, metal, paper and wiring.

Final results:

• All rubbish have been moved to skips and bins from surrounding area.
• The papers have been shredded and handed for reuse.
• The back yard looks replica datejust so much cleaner and more environmental friendly.

The volunteers where really happy working on the site, they will love to get involved with any sort of community work. We purchased sand and gravel, Rake, shovel, wheelbarrow, clipper and gloves to carry out the work in the back yard.
